The Regional Board of Investments shall conduct a marathon seminar workshop on Networking on Investments for Local Executives (NILE) in Cotabato City and Zamboanga City.

In cooperation with BOI Manila, the Regional Board of Investments ARMM is inviting leaders and members of the local government units and stakeholders to a 2 - day workshop seminar on how to improve and promote investments opportunities for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

Trainors from the National Board of Investments and the Regional Board of Investments have collaborated on putting together modules for the said workshops. It is designed for the local executives of the Autonomous Region. Drafting a local investments and incentives code is one of the aim of the workshop. The goal is to encourage investors to see the many places in the ARMM as a viable investments destination.

The first part of the workshop seminar shall be conducted in Cotabato City to cater to the participants from Maguindanao, Shariff Kabunsuan. The second leg of the NILE Project is to be conducted in Zamboanga City for the participants from Sulu, Basilan, Tawi-tawi and Lanao del Sur.

The Regional Board of Investments is honored that the said activity is endorsed by the Regional Governor Datu Zaldy Ampatuan. This further assures the support of the Regional Governor for the businessmen and key players for development in the Autonomous Region.

Originally slated for the first week of December 2007, the NILE Project Marathon has been rescheduled to the first quarter of 2008. Final dates of the activity shall be announced at the Regional Board of Investments website.
