Functions and Powers of the Regional Board of Investments
Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

1. Approval/Denial of applications for registration under the Omnibus Investment Code of 1987;
2. Supervision of enterprises duly registered with the Autonomous Regional Government, and including those enterprises previously registered with the Board of Investments, National Office;
3. Cancellation of certificate of registration of enterprises registered with the Autonomous Regional Government, and including those enterprises previously registered with the Board of Investments, National Office;
4. Evaluation of incentives to be availed by enterprises registered with the Autonomous Regional Government;
5. Assume promotion of investments within the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao consistent with the Investment Priorities Plan; and
6. Grant additional incentives, aside from those incentives under Book 1 – Title III, Article 39 of Executive Order No. 226, series of 1987.
